Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across teams, including project managers, designers, and client stakeholders, to grasp project requirements and objectives comprehensively.
- Transform design concepts and wireframes into functional, responsive websites using various page builders, programming languages and frameworks with WordPress as the primary CMS (content management system).
- Implement best practices in WordPress development, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability of websites.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of web solutions across different browsers and devices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in WordPress and web technologies to continuously enhance skills and adopt innovative approaches.
- Foster seamless integration of design elements and user interfaces into web projects through close collaboration with design teams and project managers.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing web properties, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress developer, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in WordPress development, customization and project contributions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
- Familiarity with WordPress coding standards and best practices, including knowledge of WordPress APIs and hooks.
- Proficiency in WordPress theming and plugin development, along with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Familiarity with Elementor page builder for intuitive and efficient content creation and customization.
- Experience with WooCommerce, including setup, configuration, and customization of e-commerce functionalities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of backend technologies like MySQL and experience with other CMS (content management system) platforms is advantageous but not mandatory.
